Tomatoman

I was a big fan of Japanese anime, Tomatoman was one of them.

Do you remember tomatoman?

Doraemon, Ultraman, Dragon balls, Sailormoon , Shin Chan and Naruto were also my childhood fav.

Today, with no relation to anime whatsoever, i made tomato rice and mango salad because there still plenty of beef rendang leftovers.

Rendang, a traditional slow cooked curry takes forever to cook and requires a lots of ingredients, so i made 2kg of beef rendang instead which will last me for good few days.

If cooked and stored properly ,the dry version of rendang can last for even months.

I cant get turmeric' leaves here which are essential for the beautiful fragrance aroma but regardless, after hours of labour my rendang mission was success story.

These are types of cooking that you will find in special Malaysian Malay events such as the eid celebrations.
