All leading to superstitions and triskidekophobia more so in the western world such as there’s no 13th floor or 13 row on plane, no Microsoft 13 and in some country vehicle registration number avoided number 13.
But here the interesting suppressed powerful hidden parts.
13 is the divine female energy.
In the ancient Egyptian,Hindu and Maya cultures the number 13 often symbolised spiritual transformation, the 13 level of heavens or the cycle of life, death and rebirth.
13 was sacred number linked to 13 lunar cycles in a year and also honour the 13 female menstrual cycles in a year.
In mathematic, 13 is actually a lucky ,happy, prime number the twin prime number of 11 and cousin prime of 17.
Widespread marginalisation, devaluation and vilification of feminine qualities, figures and power within patriatical societies and belief system occurred in various cultures and religions for millenia.
The rise of patriarchal religions shifted the spiritual landscape from goddess worshipping cultures into male dominated monotheistic and polytheistic religions.
Powerful goddesses associated with creation, destruction, sexuality and autonomy such as Inanna, Lilith, Sophia and Kali who were once revered degraded and demonised.
The story of Eve often portrays female as the cause of humanity downfall.
The demonisation also targeted female independence and sexual expression outside of male control.
Countless of women( healers, midwives and herbalists) accused of witchcraft killed in order to suppressed female knowledge and to reenforced male authority.
Feminine qualities such as intuition, nurturing, empathy and creativity are devalued in favour of ' masculine' traits such as logic, control and competition.
Consequently ,we become spiritually imbalanced.
We and everything around us are all energy.
We are made of the male and female energy or in the eastern philosophy, Taoism the Yin and Yang.
Both are equally divine complementing each other and in harmony can interchange.
If the divine feminine power is suppressed the Yin will be contained by Yang and vice versa.
As we all come from the source, the Tao we need both of them and our job really is to keep them in balanced.
The world follow the universe, the universe follow the Tao and the Tao follow itself.
When the Tao is strong in us, in the family and in the country , everything flourish.
Let’s fix the wrong perception and embrace the divine feminine energy our divine mother. There is nothing to be afraid of 13 but to remember instead the all beautiful powerful truths and the symbolism behind.
