How are we?
People cope with addiction in so many different ways.
There is no right or wrong ways just like our journey in life.
Even the wrong way we thought taken is in fact the alignment leading us closer to the destination.
For me obviously the first and foremost is god and spirituality as the way out.
Apart from spirituality, embracing nature , sleeping well and studying i like to share few other things that I found helpful and thoroughly enjoyed.
Nourish the body
Fruits- Any of them but am mango and watermelon man. Medjools dates are also my fav . No human fruits for now as am embracing solitude and saying no to NSA.
Dark chocolates - Was milk chocolates lover all along but loving the dark one
better during this recovery.
Tea- Lyons original blend would do. No milk or sugar, just plain tea. Milo and malt drink, Horlicks for something sweeter.
Coffee- Cappucino and ice latte ( Coffeebox and Panem are my go to)
Honey- Love me some Acacia honey, light clear color and delish.
Desserts and pastries- All of them

Scented candles and incenses- Dunnes' mango candles( only 4 euro each) and Benjamin Max' lemongrass, for incenses Nag champa, sandalwool, palo santo are lovely. With light dimmed, before or after sleep ,the beautiful smell and smokes create nice ambient perfect for healing.
Indoor plants-Our family is much bigger now, 3 years ago i only had a little archid i bought from Fresh and we bonded ever since. Now , i got the her some company , a delisiosa, cacti, fern plant and the latest addition pink fig.
I got her new pot too.Sometimes i talk to them and few times i cried with them .
They all grew well now but during my lowest point, even my cactus almost dead.
I also enjoy going to flowers and plants shops, Dunnes have nice dedicated corner for indoor plants which both beautifully done and therapeutic.
Self care- Look good feel good but do it more for you. Be your biggest fan. In term of beauty products i love Kiehl's stuff, face wash, mask ,eye cream, and moisturiser. Brightening Vit C mask from Boots is good and cheap. Niacinamide from the Ordinary, SPF50 by Korean beauty of Joseon.
For hair- Champoo' products and Nature Spell's Jamaican castor oil. Ketoconazole shampoo and topical minoxidil.
Perfumes- Armani' Gio for that fresh clean smell and some TF's and Paco Roban is good too. Good smell set up positive mood for the day.
Ice cubes to keep face looking fresh.
Cold shower- Great to finish regular shower with, dampen down the sympathetic nerve system aka inflammation.
Gym- Hit the gym, pick one close to your place as then you more likely to go. The gym keep us busy and boost all the good neurotransmitters and keep the cortisol low. Great for the eyes too!

Keep the light and shadow in harmony
Wear nice clean clothes- Know your body , your style and what look good on you, put some colours on , don't have to be expensive but clean fresh clothes help. Do it because we deserved it. No crinkly shirts or T shirts, press or steam them, be presentable and be proud of everything about you.
Music- Remember those healing frequencies i shared before. Have a listen and see if they any good to you. I overdosing on them for a while and loved their cleansing magic but now more into medieval and sountrack music( Idea 22, Interstellar, Inception, Gladiator), duduk music), all available on Youtube. These music plus candle/incense = Perfection.
In summary, the essence are spirituality, self care , self respect and self improvement.

May you eventually find home
