The weather was extra beautiful this morning, very sunny and inviting simply Friday perfection.
There were plenty of cute guys in town too making me giddy so I gave them a damn good look as my appreciation to the universe.
A little late than usual to the gym and I swear it wasn't because of the distracting amusements earlier.
I was brainstorming on special blog entry and the ideas were just rushing in.
Had to catch them before they gone.
On the good side, gym was a lot less busy and it was perfect for me.
I did good complete back workout and managed to use all the machines needed right away without having to wait or ask the annoying question' How many sets have you got left'
After that, I headed for sun bathing at Stephen green Park.
That was a lovely one and of course my family animals were there.
An ice latte, a muffin and a scone for breakfast.
I got some mixed seeds for the birds and shared the big muffin which they not surprisingly enjoyed maybe lil bit too much.
The list of family members joining in were the many pigeons, 3 seagulls, maggies, chubby maruko chan and a duck who just came to say hi.
It's the deliciously moist orange and white choc muffin from Keogh' , no wonder they loved it just as much as I do.
Today was meant to be the last day at work for this term.
I clearly made the best decision to quit and prioritise my well being and personal growth 2 months ago.
Everything else can wait and of lesser importance.
If i was still holding on to the job, am pretty sure am way worst than I was and next week the cycle continue with new team, toxic colleagues and the busier than ever hospital.
I will be more than likely rostered for the painfully busy set of night duties as to allow the new colleagues settling in.
No thank you for all of that.
Not this time.
I chose myself .
I needed rest and a reset.
It's great to walk away and never looked back.
Finally I found my own meaning to the famous poem" The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost published in 1915 which we did back then in high school.
