Another Sunday another lovely traditional banjar kuih made yesterday.I never make it here in my 20 years being abroad . My late mom and late auntie were the two ladies who kindly introduced me to this beaut!
This steamed kuih( sweet savory snacks) has creamy soft coconut topping and layer of banana or in my version , I incorporated jackfruit as the base instead .
Cooking is a great way to rekindle to my past and my roots.
Am beyond proud to share my Malay banjar heritage to the world.
