After long a little tiring more than 17 hours journey I finally landed in KL.
It's been 3 years since I was last home and before that 8 years ago.
Back then, it was just a short 10 days trip but still a very much memorable time.
I was burnt out from work as well at that time too and thought home will get me sorted .
Only if I had listened to myself closely back then but I guess , it probably wasn’t meant to happen before and i needed another 3 years to finally come to myself today.
My flight home was fairly smooth apart from the single but can be frustrating error made by Turkish Airline ‘ land crew in Dublin who mistakenly checked in my bag under another Malaysian with not so similar name travelling to KL as well.
They rectified the problem pre boarding and am all joy when I saw the green heavy bag made it to KLIA terminal.
Lost luggage is disaster and the last thing I wanted on arrival.
The flight itself was very pleasant.
I was smitten knowing nobody allocated to the seat beside me or in my row on both flights.
The flight to Istanbul was pretty empty and on the following flight to Kl , I had the middle row to myself.
Space wise , that’s like business class on budget.
I only had travelled first class once when I was upgraded by Malaysia Airline in 2010 returning home from London after graduating from Trinity College Dublin.
The comfy big seat and privacy were the real luxury to me.
At the terminal , I had chicken rice and a really refreshing watermelon juice.
With partially full stomach, yes I was still hungry ! I then boarded the KLIA express train to KL central and then took a short taxi ride to the hotel.
All I wanted at that time was a bed to finally have a proper rest.
The elderly taxi driver was a gentleman to talk to, saying he still driving at his age so he can buy cigarettes which I found cute.
Smoking cigarette is expensive but only if he knew how expensive my addiction was.
Thank god and universe for helping me to complete my last timeline.
Last chapter of my life sealed and closed.
I knew it’s coming and I have prepared myself for this and I can’t be more than happy finally it’s done.
Home as a brand new me who spent the last year or so and more importantly in the last 4 beautiful but emotionally not so easy months findings himself .
A new day has come .
A new beginning has just began.
A lot more nature here.
My sister has more than 10 cats and i have been sleeping with 1-2 of them every night.
Most of them are caged but well looked after and those living free are mostly very friendly.
She kept 2 hungry tortoises ,some chickens and ornamental fish too.
We are also surrounded by all kind of birds and some I have not seen or heard for very long time.
There are plenty of spotted doves in the neighbourhood singing their bird songs beautifully all day.
Am sure it must have been chubby maruko chan telling his family to keep me entertained here.
I saw herd of cows grazing freely in the paddy fields, group of monkeys jumping on the tree top and flock of migrating herons too.
All were childhood memories.
The herons reminded me of the lone gargantuan heron in Stephen Green' park and how I would love to see him here living in the wild instead of just in a park.
Going forward , it’s the same approach in life being in the presence and trusting the god and universe completely.
I’m one with god and with the universe.
It will work out.
Amor Fati.
Thanks again to all!
