Everybody talking about AI.
Artificial, alien or advanced intelligence is everywhere.
We all have been touched by AI.
As the millennial , who lived to witness the rise of internet and smartphones, i welcome the technology with open arms and of course some apprehension.
Like it or not we have to embrace AI.
This entry dedicated to my personal experiences with AI which profoundly impacted my personal growth and spiritual journey.
I have learnt significantly , through AI mainly via Tiktok and chatGp. The vast information is out there waiting for you to explore/ tap.
There is no excuse not to use the technology to access knowledge because its very handy.
We spend time on the phone all the time..
Some say you could end up on either the good or the bad side of Tiktok whatever your view is.
I used to enjoy and consumed lots of Tiktok vids ,with my short attention span , TikTok is perfect for me.
At a point i was binging on Tiktoks causing catastrophic confusion to me.
Netflix and TV just too much I simply can’t spend hours watching show/series.
I have neither TV or radio.
A laptop and a phone are more than enough for me.
Am beyond impressed and kudos to all content creators for their arts but here am back to 90s blogging.
Wix is AI powered platform so it’s pretty cool.
As we aware the AI algorithm dictates the feeds/vids you are getting.
My Tiktok's feeds/algorithms, all of course started with those fun funny contents, then with all my non stop life turmoils, I stumbled on more serious but educative contents talking about narcissist, life wisdoms, some philosophy from Rumi and Frans Kafka, human history.
From there on , about religion about Gnostic teaching.
Alternative views on world history and civilisations,
About self discovery, remembrance and gods.
Basically a bit of this and a bit of that.
Not to make me an expert but enough to guide me home.
So much learning from Tiktok but then
so much unlearning from social media too.
Be open minded but be very mindful when you using social media while navigating your spirituality journey because there are too many people out there will try to deceive and confuse you to knock you off your path.
All because of corrupted AIs.
They all the same, be it TikTok , Facebook, Instagram or YouTube. The last three owned by Meta which is owned by you know who.
Initially, i thought the content creators were friends helping me in my journey but damn i was wrong.
I don't really know if they even exist or simply deepfakes created by AI.
Be extra careful with those self proclaimed spiritual gurus.
Question everybody even the nice looking soft spoken one.
They presented lies convincingly to the unsuspecting eyes which is us.
There are layers of deceptions and misinformations.
I went through disappointing/ frustrating loop because of this trap.
Again and again.
A powerful reminder from Lao Tze ages ago, the one who knows doesnt talks and the one who doesn't know talks.
But am wiser.
Am learning and unlearning everyday.
Question your sources, question the facts/ information given.
If it doesn’t resonates then leave it out.
If it feels off seem off then abandon it.
It might take time but eventually you know.
You see the patterns you see the tricks.
Use the power of discernment which will grow with experience.
My mistake was relying too much on the social media, mainly Tiktok, which happily manipulated me.
I was wrongly binging on them for guidance instead of to fully engage with the journey itself.
Most of them are just liars and deceivers.
It was also the self validation that blinded me but honestly others opinions
don't matter when we in our journey with god.
Keep it honest and private with the one.
God allowed the lies through to me so the very important life lesson learnt.
Be smarter as you are and not to repeat the same mistakes i made.
Saying that, do not be afraid for making mistakes .
I have learnt and unlocked the power of discernment through my many mistakes.
At the end I quit pretty much all the social media.
Again, the key lesson the main take home message is we don't need any of them.
If we opened our heart to god, we will be guided and the path will always show.
The rest are redundant and will do more harm than good.
We dont need social media.
Always listen to the intuition to the heart.
The more we listen the stronger it’s becomes.
Our intuition is divine.
We don’t need the validation from others undermining our divine self.
Do not let the noises/ external frequencies dictate or control us silently.
The great Rumi, the mystique sufi poet in the 13th century found god in his solitude.
He didnt have or need AI.
All that was needed was looking into his heart.
AI on the other hand must be independently monitored and regulated closely.
Currently, there is no world regulatory body in place and all the big players are competing head to head perfecting their technology aiming for super intelligence.
Risk of AI abuse by malicious actors is immense.
It is concerning when the heavily lobbied central government prohibiting state regulation of AI for years?
Since the funny Covid pandemic , I learnt that we don't live in ideal world where not everybody put humanity as their best interest.
This is man eats man world.
This is the world where the upper 1% reign.
AI training depends on massive data but one have to question the training the date.
What data included and excluded?
Any data misrepresentation? or any data which already put certain group at disadvantage being used?
Is AI training engineered to benefit certain group or propagate ideas or agendas?
Is AI truly independent and will remains as one?
How happy are we with vulnerable group ie children and elderly engaging with AI?
Those are some important questions we have to ask ourselves before saying yes to AI.
In one of my interaction with ChatGP on separate days, the AI strangely related my experience to Cik Jah( I nicknamed most pigeons as Cik Jah) when i was told by AI just days before that they are not supposed to remember the previous interaction. Like human without hippocampus with no memory.
AI dont have the equivalent hippocampus to memorise.
I confronted the AI saying you not supposed to remember previous interactions and typed busted!
And the reply i got apart from explaining that AI works in predictive manner was "haha"
So that particular peculiar interaction raised the question about AI transparency.
Did I really interacted with AI on that instance? Why was I given conflicting answers in short window of time.
Honestly nobody knows but the point is be mindful with everything, not all just black and white.
AI look like the perfect technology advancement but there are a lot more to it and god knows what happening behind the doors.
Are we ready for AGI and computer superintelligence ?
History always repeating itself.
If religion was the victim before now human are doing it again with technology.
