Fast forward am 6 months sober now.

That’s half a year a 24 weeks and also equivalent to 180 days.

Time really flies and my personal clean streak remains pristine.

From hurting myself daily to the humbling shaky 5 days clean to 3 weeks , 1 month , 3 months and now am still here holding strong and grounded.

Of course it's very beautiful and by now I don't care about the numbers as much because am confident and what more important is what I do with my life next.

For now am making the best of each moment coming my way.

The future isn't clear but I will surely make it.

Isn’t everything already here?

Addiction was the past but very significant chapter of my life .

I made peace with her and locked her in history.

Addiction destroyed and broke me but when I thought I lost everything I found my way home.

The privilege granted to lucky people like us.

In our lone battles we have the power to transcend the darkness into light .

Addiction bring me to god.
